This is one of my favorite Chanel glosses. Yes, it even qualifies for "HG-Holy Grail" status too. It does have a pearly frost finish so a light hand is needed when applying otherwise it will come across as garish and extremely frosty. The gloss has more than enough pigmentation that it can be worn alone or paired with any lipstick or lipliner to create a unique lip combo. One of my favorite everyday lip combos is pairing this gloss with Chanel lipliner in Mordore Nude (read more about the lipliner here) because it gives the lips more definition and it also gives the appearance of fuller, plumper lips which is always nice if you're not blessed with naturally full lips.

This gloss retails for $28.50 6ml/.20oz and is part of Chanel's permanent line of products available everywhere that Chanel is sold. I purchased this gloss at the Chanel Boutique located inside the Belk Department store at the SouthPark mall. The gloss can be described as a mauve-y rose color with flecks of gold in a pearly frost finish. As far as a mid-range dupe, I've been told that MAC Lipglass in Lust is close, and for a drugstore alternative you should try Wet 'N' Wild Lipgloss in Bronzeberry.

TIPS / TRICKS:
With a gloss that has such a frosty finish like this one, is should be applied lightly to the bottom middle of the lip. Then gently pop the lips together several times to even it out over them all the while making sure that the gloss doesn't settle into the corners of the mouth. Don't let the gloss gather at the corners as it will enhance any wrinkles or creases around the mouth.
