Another haul / shopping spree video that I finally got around to uploading. This is stuff that I purchased at my local Sephora store. Hope you like it and leave me a comment if you have any questions.

REVIEW - BENEFIT SKINNY JEANS
Benefit Cosmetics Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner |
Just the other day I was at Sephora looking for some new products to try and I happened upon Benefits Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner. Trying to decide which color I should get the SA suggested "Skinny Jeans". Since I have a penchant for the smokey eye look I took him up on his suggestion. Here is the look I created with this product:
Here is what the Sephora website says about these products:
Benefit's creaseless cream shadow/liners are guaranteed to make you gorgeous as they line, shade, and contour your eyes. Blendable, beautiful - this do-it-all shadow lines, shades, and contours your eyes with a lovely crease-proof, smudge-proof formula. Mix and match, or go as sheer or as dramatic as you like with layerable, buildable color. You'll love the glass jar - just remember to close it tight to keep your cream shadow creamy and dreamy! “ Benefit's Love Your Look makeup to match your lifestyle collection takes the guesswork out of gorgeous. Choose from three unique looks: The Lana light neutral shades, The Gabbi medium neutral shades, and The Betty deep neutral shades. Go for a "lifestyle look" or, be daring and mix and match! All of the beautiful shades for lips, eyes, and cheeks will get you the look you want! You'll love the hidden surprise, a "beauty fortune" inside every package."
Skinny Jeans (pretty pewter) |
The pros:
- Really nice pewter color
- Easy to apply
- Color payoff is excellent
The cons:
- Has a very “greasy” creamy texture
- Creases almost immediately
- Does not convert to a powder formula
Needless to say I was really disappointed with this product because it creases like crazy but I so love this color. Oh well, maybe I can find something similar to this that doesn’t crease as bad. Here is a picture of me wearing this product and if you look closely you can see where the shadow has already started to crease.
Here is a close-up picture:
Since I'm not one to give up so easily I might try it with an eyeshadow base next time to see if that doesn't help with the creasing. I will keep you posted on my progress!
