Last Tuesday I received an e-mail along with a personalized code that gave me exclusive access to the new Nicki Minaj Viva Glam lipstick before it was available to anyone else. After clicking on the e-mail the embedded link took me to a webpage where I entered my e-mail address and the personalized code so that I could purchase the lipstick.
MAC VIVA GLAM: Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin for Viva Glam will be available in the U.S. starting February 15th. Cost for the lipstick is $14.50 and the tube of clear lip conditioner is $15.00
The lipstick has a satin finish and is a very bright yellow-pink color that goes on opaque. The tube of lip conditioner is clear and similar to the original, except that this has Ricky's signature on the tube.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
The formula for this lipstick, it has a satin finish, was rather drying on my lips and it did tend to settle into them as well. The extremely bright pink color of this lipstick, although it is beautiful, definitely makes this not work appropriate either.
On that note, while the bright pink color goes along with the whole Nicki Minaj theme and suits her over the top personality, I found it to be a miss with me more so than a "Must Have".
