This brilliant palette highlights new colour-rich ROUGE COCO SHINE Hydrating Colour Lipshine and pays homage to Mademoiselle's influence in film.

To extend the ROUGE COCO range, this vibrant new lipshine combines a beautiful sheen with 30 percent more colour pigments than classic ROUGE COCO SHINE. The Hydratendre Complex softens lips, plumping them for a healthier, fuller appearance. Presenting eight sheer and shiny shades with intense colour, from golden beige to bold red.

CHANEL ROUGE COCO SHINE 81 FICTION is part of the AVANT-PREMIERE collection and is described as an "intense plum". At first glance and before swatching, it almost looked reddish brown with gold flecks mixed in. However, once I swatched FICTION it took on more of a plummy red tone and I noticed it had a nice glossy finish as well. Chanel didn't skimp on color with this one - it is significantly more pigmented than the original rouge coco shines and with a light application (see below) it applies a fair amount of color to the lips. I can definitely see this one being a hit for those who prefer a bolder lip look. Of course the amped up pigmentation is part of Chanel's reformulation. They added 30 percent more colour pigments to eight new rouge coco shines - this was for the Chanel customer who loves the look and feel of the original rouge coco shine but wanted a touch more color to the lips. Personally, I think Chanel nailed it with these. I LOVE THEM!
