BOBBI BROWN: CCO Haul / Shop Spree

Even though I live about 20 minutes away from my local CCO, I don't get there as often as I like. Well, I finally made a trip there this past weekend and I went a little c-r-azy! Especially when I found out they had just gotten in a bunch of Bobbi Brown products; HEAVEN!!!!

So of course I had to "SPLURGE" a little and this is some of the stuff I bought!

I really love the face touch-up palette. It is the perfect all in one makeup essential to have. As you can see from the photo below, this palette houses a concealer, a corrector, a foundation stick, and pressed powder to set everything. I can't say it enough; I LOVE this palette so much and I carry it with me everywhere! It is my "do not leave the house without it" makeup essential that I recommend for everybody.

What can I say, I'm a collector of eyeliners. I have so many eyeliners but I'm constantly buying even more cause I am weak. Weak, I say! Ha Ha!

I bought Black Chocolate because I love how it is almost black but with tinges of brown mixed in. I can wear the Black Chocolate eyeliner with a dark smokey eye or with a neutral eye and with either of the looks I don't look overdone. Actually, I look young, natural and FABULOUS!!!! LOL

I bought the Black Plum eyeliner because the black purplish plum color really makes my green eyes pop! I have worn the Black Plum eyeliner several times already and each time I receive numerous compliments on how green my eyes look. So for those green-eyed ladies this is a "Must Have". 

Lip products....I'm not a big fan of lip products.

Sure, I apply lipstick and then a lipgloss to my lips every morning before I head out the door for work. However, I don't re-apply throughout the day. Nope. I don't really think about it, but I am trying to get better at it.

Anyway, at least that was my excuse and what I kept chanting under my breath when I saw these babies here. It sounded good at the time and I was able to justify buying more lip products. LOL

My favorite out of all three lip products, and the one that I would recommend, is the Metallic lip color in Ruffle. It is such a beautiful color. I was most disappointed with the lipgloss because the teeny tiny lip brush on the wand was about impossible to use. It was way to small and wouldn't pick up much lip product either. I was also disappointed in the Uber Pink creamy lipcolor. In the tube the color looked pink, and this tube was the only one the CCO had in stock so I couldn't swatch it to confirm the exact color. It wasn't until I got home that I realized it was more of a pink salmon color than a true pink. So I was a little disappointed with those two.

Let me know if you have any recommendations for any "Must Have" Bobbi Brown products that I should purchase. Or for that matter, any "Must Have" products from any other brands as well. I'm always looking to try new products, brands, etc. Thanks!

Earlier this year, I believe around March, MAC launched a new and permanent line of lipsticks called Sheen Supreme. It was rumored then, that the Sheen Supreme lipsticks were to replace the Slimshines, MAC's older version but not quite as pigmented lipsticks. Since its launch, the Sheen Supreme lipsticks has met with much success. I know I own several shades from this line and the only complaint that I have is they tend to dry out the lips a little. However, just add a little bit of moisturizer or chapstick and you are good to go. 

With the MAC Seasonally Supreme launch, there are twelve shades that are available with this collection. Nine of the twelve are new shades that will be added to the already permanent line of lipsticks and the other three are re-promotes from March (Insanely It, Bare Again, and Supremely Confident are the re-promotes). At this time all of them will retail for about $14.50 each but of course prices are subject to change at any time. Also, keep in mind, these lipsticks are eligible for B2M so you can receive your lipsticks that way as well.

I have my eye on a couple of the new shades from this collection and will be purchasing them on Thursday at my local MAC counter. Once I've had a chance to try them out I will post a follow-up review with swatches.

I was tagged by Lesjumelles85 to do a video of my six favorite brushes. It took me a while to choose only six because I have so many that I love using but I eventually narrowed it down. I tried to choose a variety of brushes but I kept coming back to my eye brushes. However I did manage to include one or two face brushes.

MY MAC EYESHADOW COLLECTION / OBSESSION

As I stated in my video I need to get a life and quit buying so many eye shadows! I'm so obsessed with all the colors....LOL I've tried to show the names w/ the colors so if you see something you like you can go out and buy it as well. But for some reason once the video is uploaded to YouTube it is not as clear. Oh well. Another HUGE THANKS to Enkore for the tutorials on depotting & palette labels. He is WONDERFUL!!!

MAC ELECTRO FLASH SHOPPING SPREE / MAC Haul

I'm a confessed MAC-aholic! Yesterday I was having MAJOR MAC withdrawals so I went on a shopping spree. As you can see I went on several! LOL...

My first shopping spree was at my local MAC counter. I purchased two MAC Electro Flash items: - Sonic Vibe Lipglass - Fast Thrill Lipstick I sooo wanted to buy the MES but I don't care for the shiny/shimmery Frost finishes. But the colors were AMAZING!!! Also while I was there I picked up a MAC eyeliner: - Blooz Eye Kohl (SO GORGEOUS!)

My shopping spree yesterday at my local CCO (Cosmetic Company Store) I purchased the following: - Feline Kohl Power Eye pencil - Clear Brow Finisher - Electro Lush Lipglass - Graphology e/s - Tete-a-tint e/s - Velvet Moss e/s - Shimmermoss e/s
