03 BERRY POP CLINIQUE CHEEK POP BLUSH - SWATCHES AND REVIEW

Clinique released four new blushes with their spring 2014 collection: Berry, Plum, Ginger and Peach. All four are embossed with a cute daisy design that is so perfect for Spring. I had previously purchased 04 Plum Pop blush and loved it so much I decided to try 03 Berry Pop. Berry Pop is described as a berry pink blush but just from swatching mine I think it is more of a light fuschia pink. These highly pigmented blushes apply semi-sheer with buildable color and typically last about 8 to 10 hours wear time. The Clinique cheek pops retail for $21.00 USD and contain .12 oz of product.

This Sunday I am attending the Sephora VIB Rouge Spring Social (click the link to read more about it) so I might pick up the other two cheek pop blushes: Ginger and Peach while I am there. I've already started making my shopping list for the event: my wants, my needs and my must haves so we will see what I finally end up with. Normally I try not to post a lot of my Sephora hauls because I tend to go W-A-Y overboard when there is a sale, discount code or promo going on, LOL! 02 CHERRY GUERLAIN METEORITES BUBBLE BLUSH - SWATCHES AND REVIEW

Guerlain released two adorable Meteorites bubble blushes: 01 Pink and 02 Cherry with the Météorites Blossom Collection. I had been wanting to try them for quite some time. They looked so adorable in their little plastic tubs but at $42.00 each for .14 oz of product they seemed to be a little on the expensive side. Well I finally caved and I purchased 02 Cherry.

02 Cherry is a creamy muted fuschia pink blush with a faint sweet scent. The Guerlain cream blushes are said to melt into the skin with a cream to powder finish. Although they don't apply like that at all. The blush seemed really glossy and shiny in the container but during application it was rather dull and lacked any kind of shine. It stained the skin and sort of melted into the skin but it was very transparent and not thick. It actually enhanced the pores and didn't give very much coverage as a blush. Now while some people had great results with the Guerlain bubble blushes I just didn't care for them. The quality just didn't match with the price and I felt like these could have been better.

So far its been spotted at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and online at Dillards.com and Chanel.com. Whew, that is really rushing things just a bit! LOL
