CHANEL OMBRE ESSENTIELLE SOFT TOUCH EYESHADOW 85 SILLAGE was first released in the Spring of 2010 with the launch of Les Impressions De Chanel. I first came across this shadow when I went to the Chanel counter in search of a good base color. It's described as a gorgeous shimmery beige with pink undertones. Although I think its closer to a shimmery shell pink color in my opinion. In certain lighting it can even come across as a dupe for MAC All That Glitters but with pinkier undertones.
Now this isn't a color that you hear people rave about so there isn't a lot of buzz surrounding this eyeshadow. Although, I think it should be a "must have" for any collection just for the simple fact that it can be worn alone as a beautiful base color. It is currently available on Chanel.com and at all major department stores as well with a retail price of $28.50 for 0.07 oz. of product.
