VISIT TO THE HOMELAND - AUGUSTA, GA
Recently I went to Georgia to visit my family and to celebrate my Mom's b-day. Happy birthday MOM!!! Just had to give her a shout-out!
Anyway we, meaning the whole family, decided to take a trip to the Augusta Mall. The last time I was at this mall was about four years ago and most if not all of the stores were closing or so old that your grandma would not even shop there.
WELLLLL... a lot can happen in four years. I was amazed by how many new stores that had opened up at the Augusta mall. Here is a link to some of them: stores. Now for some people this may not seem like a big deal but if you grew up here then you know that the most important things for people are GOLF & the Masters tournament, the Fort Gordon military army base and cow tipping. Seriously! Shopping in Augusta is really, really, really low on the priority scale for this city. So for little ole Augusta Mall to get a makeover is amazing! I think I've died and gone to heaven. Surely this isn't happening in Augusta...
