I am a MAC fanatic, especially when it comes to their blushes. They have produced some of the best blushes of any high end cosmetic company. So it was with much excitement that I was anticipating the new MAC EXTRA DIMENSION BLUSH in FLAMING CHIC. According to MAC it is a "liquid-powder blush with prismatic reflections" and it comes "in five shimmering shades. Impact ranges from sheer crystallized light to a highly polished metallic effect" and it is supposed to last at least six hours. Well, what was to be a "must-have" blush instead turned out to be a big ole disappointment for me. This definitely wasn't a creamy blush or anything close to it. The blush was so densely packed I could barely swatch it let alone even apply it to my cheeks.

Final thoughts:
With MAC Flaming Chic, the color alone had me hooked. Unfortunately, it just wouldn't show up and what showed had little to no color. Basically this blush just didn't live up to all the hype.
