In the Fall of 2011 Chanel first launched the ILLUSION D'OMBRE long wear luminous eyeshadows. 83 ILLUSOIRE, one of the more popular shades, is described as a sparkly deep purple with hints of taupe mixed in. This "intensely shimmering long-wear eyeshadow offers true versatility." The cream-gel like texture of the eyeshadow feels soft but somewhat sponge-y; almost like a cushion. It can be worn as an eyeshadow base, or an eyeshadow or even as an eyeliner. The special brush included in the packaging allows for easy application no matter how you decide to wear it.
