A modern interpretation of classic creme lip colour as an homage to the rich life and legacy of 'Coco' Chanel. Lightweight lip colour glides on for easy application, and features a Hydratendre complex to help soften, soothe and condition lips—even boosting their ability to hold in moisture—for a plumper, smoother and healthier-looking appearance.
Chanel 88 ESPRIT rouge coco shine is part of the Chanel Fall 2013 Superstition collection. Read more about the Fall collection here.
Even though this lipstick is described as a burgundy color (in the tube it looks it) once it was applied it took on more of a deep berry wine tone on my lips. It does contain a subtle hint of sparkle as well. The application was effortless due to the creamy texture of the rouge coco shine although there was a slight feathering / smudging around the outer edges of my lips. You might want to use a lip liner for a more seamless lip look. The total wear time for me before needing reapplication was about four hours with minimal staining on my lips.
88 ESPRIT retails for $34.00 USD and contains .1 oz. of product.
