DESIGNED BY LISA ELDRIDGE AUDACITY IN PARIS LANCOME EYESHADOW PALETTE - NEW / FALL 2015

I recently placed an online order on the Lancome website when I saw this amazing palette. It is designed by Lisa Eldridge! YES....THE FREAKIN AMAZING, I LOVE TO WATCH HER VIDEOS, MAKEUP ARTIST TO THE STARS, AN AMAZING INSPIRATION...THE Lisa Eldridge. This woman knows makeup and she is an artist! OMG, that alone makes this a "MUST HAVE" palette. Okay, okay...I know, enough singing her praises!

This gorgeous palette features sixteen shades (I'll list them all below) and a dual-ended eyeshadow brush. I ordered mine from the Lancome website and it should arrive within the next few days. So check back for swatches!!! I'm super excited, super pumped to try it. On the Lancome website they have a few video tutorials showing different looks you can create with the palette. Plus there are different makeup looks listed for inspiration too.

436 MAGGY CHANEL ROUGE COCO ULTRA HYDRATING LIP COLOUR - SWATCHES AND REVIEW

Lately I have been on a lipstick buying binge! So when I heard Chanel recently reformulated / relaunched their ROUGE COCO lipsticks I was definitely intrigued. Now I wasn't a fan of the original formula and I never really invested much money into purchasing many of them. I believe I had previously purchased maybe two, Magnolia and Mademoiselle. Magnolia I still have but the other, Mademoiselle, I promptly returned to the store. I didn't care for how heavy it felt on my lips because it had such a thick formula. Also, it wasn't very moisturizing as it tended to dry out my lips quite a bit. So I'm super excited to see how these new lipsticks will perform.

There are 29 new ROUGE COCO lipsticks to choose from and each are named for people who inspired Coco Chanel - friends, lovers and artists. Now naming a product for a muse isn't a new trend. Other brands such as Nars and Tom Ford have all done the same with their lipsticks but it is still nice to see how each brand honors those closest to them. With the Chanel ROUGE COCO lipsticks there are five color groups to choose from with the nudes named for her family, the pinks named for her best friends, corals named for her muses, reds named for her lovers and plums were named for her favorite artists. The ROUGE COCO lipsticks currently retail for $36.00 USD, contain .12 oz of product and are available in store and online at Chanel, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdales just to name a few.

According to Chanel:

The reinvented ROUGE COCO is more expressive than ever, in a new formula and vibrant colour spectrum, with shade names inspired by Coco Chanels closest friends. The bright lip colour features an exclusive complex with Jojoba and Mimosa Butters, Sunflower Wax and silicone for lasting hydration and luminous results.

The shades within each color range are featured from lightest to darkest with an even numbering system (400 to 456). The nude shades are 400 to 408, the corals are 410 to 418, the pinks are 420 to 438, the reds are 440 to 446 and the plums are 448 to 456. With so many to choose from I was a little overwhelmed. Each color group has something special to offer and trying to choose just one was really difficult. Typically I gravitate towards nudes, pinks and plums so after swatching a few I finally settled on 436 Maggy. It's the perfect "MLBB" (my lips but better) lip color which is a deep mauve-y pink. It does contain teeny tiny micro glitter particles which are not as noticeable on the lips until the lipstick wears off. Then they are more readily visible. In the tube the lipstick does have a slight floral scent but it didn't carry over upon application which is nice. I hate when a lipstick has a heavy floral scent attached to it and you can still taste and smell it on your lips even after application. Maggy applies semi-opaque with buildable lightweight color. The color does deepen and darken the heavier the application and it still feels lightweight. It is important to note the moisturizing properties contained in the lipstick keep the lips hydrated but it does have a slight waxy feel and it allowed the lipstick to travel somewhat. Especially along the outer edges of the lips so I would advise applying a lipliner for a more pristine look. Wear time for the lipstick was about five hours before reapplication was necessary. Even if you are not a fan of Chanel I would definitely suggest purchasing a few of these. The beautiful color range and the lightweight moisturizing properties absolutely make them worth purchasing.

CHANEL HOLIDAY 2014 PLUMES PRECIEUSES DE CHANEL COLLECTION

Every year I'm always excited to see what new products Chanel will be releasing for the holidays. This year the two "Must Have" items are the highlight powder, Camelia De Plumes, and the eyeshadow palette, Oiseaux De Nuit. Both are gorgeous and are sure to be favorites among Chanel fans. The entire collection is slated to be available starting November 2nd but we all know that many of the pieces from this collection will start showing up at counters as early as Mid October. Currently several pieces, namely the highlight powder, the eyeshadow palette, and both lipsticks are already available at Bloomingdales.com

619 PINK TONIC CHANEL LE VERNIS NAIL COLOUR - SWATCHES AND REVIEW

Chanel 619 Pink Tonic is part of the 2014 Summer collection REFLETS D’ÉTÉ DE CHANEL. Check out the links below to see more of the entire collection. Chanel Le Vernis Nail Lacquer currently retails for $27.00 USD and contains .4 fl oz of product. There were five nail lacquers released with this collection (one was a re-promote from a previous collection) and this is the second one I have reviewed so far.

When I first applied Pink Tonic to my nails I noticed right away how wonderful the formula was for this polish. I would even say it is one of the best because it applied so easily with no streaks and it was opaque with just one application. Once the polish had dried it maintained it's glossy shine and the color was still a vibrant fuchsia pink. The wear time for this polish was about three solid days with significant chipping at the tips by day four. If you are wanting to purchase a nail polish from this collection I would definitely recommend this one as a "Must Buy".

8 PRUNE TAFFETAS GIVENCHY OMBRE COUTURE CREAM EYESHADOW - SWATCHES AND REVIEW

Givenchy recently released 9 new Ombre Couture cream eyeshadows. These long lasting cream to powder eyeshadows boast a 16 hour wear time that can be worn as a base, eyeshadow or eyeliner. I purchased 3 of them: 3 Rose Dentelle (click the link below to see my review), 8 Prune Taffetas and 5 Taupe Velours (I'll post a review of it shortly). The Givenchy Ombre Couture cream eyeshadows are available at Sephora and are currently priced at $23.00 USD for .14 oz. of product.

08 Prune Taffetas is a gorgeous plum eyeshadow. It has a cream to powder finish that applies semi-sheer with buildable color. It is super easy to layer and apply and it lasts forever when worn! I wore it for about 14 hours on Saturday and it still looked fresh all day long. Almost like I had just applied the eyeshadow. I am so in love with this color!!! So far out of the three I have purchased 08 Prune Taffetas is my favorite. Although they all have superb quality and wear beautifully!

506 GIORGIO ARMANI CHEEK FABRIC BLUSH - SWATCHES AND REVIEW

For my birthday I wanted to splurge on some Giorgio Armani cosmetics. It also helped that they were offering an extra 15% off any online purchase (see my post here). So I picked out one of the new Giorgio Armani cheek fabric blushes in 506. The cheek fabric blushes are supposed to apply rather sheer and soft with buildable color. Also the color range has been extended to include a few vibrant shades that will appeal to a larger audience. The Giorgio Armani Cheek fabric blushes are currently priced at $46.00 USD for .14oz of product and there are a total of eight to choose from.

506 is a neutral rosy pink blush with buildable color. It does apply rather sheer and the blush felt densely packed (not hard but not overly powdery) when swatched. The blush doesn't contain any sparkle or micro glitter but at times it tends to lend a slight sheen to the cheek (almost like a glow from within) when the light catches your face at certain angles. The wear time was a solid 10 hours with little to no fading. I was really impressed with the quality of the 506 Cheek Fabric blush - it truly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be purchasing more in the near future. Overall the Giorgio Armani cheek fabric blushes are a high quality blush that are a great investment piece to have in your makeup collection.

3 ROSE DENTELLE GIVENCHY OMBRE COUTURE CREAM EYESHADOW - SWATCHES AND REVIEW

Recently Givenchy released 9 new Ombre Couture cream eyeshadows. These long lasting cream to powder eyeshadows boast a 16 hour wear time that can be worn as a base or as an eyeshadow. I purchased 3 Rose Dentelle which is a muted pinkish brown. It is a gorgeous natural shade that will wear well on just about everyone. The texture is reminiscent of the MAC paint pots but the Givenchy cream eyeshadows have a denser consistency. They do apply rather sheer but buildable. So there is never a fear of overdoing it. Just keep in mind that it does dry rather quickly but one still has time to blend it out before it sets. I wore Rose Dentelle all day yesterday as an eyeshadow, about 17 hours (7am until about midnight) and I didn't experience any creasing but there was some slight fading after about 12 hours. Today I am wearing it as a base, 5 hours so far, and nothing has moved, creased or faded on my eyes.
