Disclosure Policy

This policy is valid from January 1st, 2012

In compliance with the new FTC Regulations the disclosure of relationships between bloggers and brands I have decided to add the following disclosure policy to my blog:

This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. For questions about this blog, please contact me at mhefner4(at)gmail(dot)com.

I review products based on my personal preferences and I am not paid for my reviews or opinions. Additionally, I do not receive promotional products (freebies) from PR companies, however, if that should ever occur I will disclose that information immediately.

I currently use Skimlinks which automatically insert affiliate links within my posts. These links, or Affiliate links, are paid commission links. If you click on an Affiliate link and decide to purchase something, then I receive a small commission on that sale. I do not control nor am I responsible for the Affiliate links as these are provided by a third party and are generated by them.

This blog will accept forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation when offered and as such will be disclosed as well.

Any compensation received will never influence the content, topics or posts made in this blog. All advertising is in the form of advertisements generated by a third party ad network. Those advertisements will be identified as paid advertisements.

The owner(s) of this blog is not compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the blog owners. If we claim or appear to be experts on a certain topic or product or service area, we will only endorse products or services that we believe, based on our expertise, are worthy of such endorsement. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.

This blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.
